R. K. Engineers

You can find us at 135 in Khanna Market, which is part of Lodhi Colony. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a busy place with a lot of different shops crammed together. Our space is one of the smaller ones, but we make it work. R. K. Engineers has been here for some time now, and we’ve become a familiar face to the other shop owners around here. The morning starts with opening the shutters and clearing away any dust that settled overnight. It’s a tight space with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We keep our tools and spare parts organized in a way that only we really understand. It’s not the quietest place to work since there is always the sound of traffic and people shouting in the market outside. We usually grab a quick lunch from one of the local stalls nearby. The work we do involves a lot of fixing and adjusting things, so our hands are rarely clean. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big office staff. It’s just us doing the engineering work that needs to get done. People come to us because they know we are right here in the market and we don’t disappear. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. Sometimes it gets stressful when there’s a lot of work piled up, but we just take it one job at a time until the day ends.
