Jobsplanate

We work out of Trilokpuri in Mayur Vihar, right at 23/144. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street outside. Our daily routine is mostly about talking to people who are looking for jobs and trying to match them with what is available. It can be quite stressful because people are often worried about their future, and we have to be honest with them about their chances. We spend hours on the phone and going through lists of names. The office is not very big, and it is usually full of papers and files. We have got a few desks pushed together, and that is where we spend our nine-to-five. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking details and making sure phone numbers are correct. Sometimes the internet goes down, and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just use that time to grab some food from the local vendors. The area around Mayur Vihar has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed in this same spot. We are not some giant corporation; we are just a small group of people helping others find a way to earn a living. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy. We see all kinds of people coming through our door, each with their own story, and we just listen and do what we can.
