Punj Lloyd

We’ve been based out of Vivek Apartments in Shreshtha Vihar for quite some time. It is a quiet residential block and our office at F-2 is pretty much what you’d expect from a place in Delhi. There’s a lot of paper moving around and we usually have the fan on high because the afternoons get sticky. Most of us take the Metro or drive in early to avoid the worst of the traffic on the main roads. It isn't a massive corporate skyscraper with glass walls and a fancy lobby. We just have our desks, some old computers, and a small kitchen where we make tea. The neighbors are mostly families so we try to keep the noise down when people are coming and going. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, but that is just part of living in this part of town. We spend most of our day handling the paperwork and making calls. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Usually, we order lunch from the dhaba around the corner. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside. The building has that typical Delhi look with the balconies and the wiring hanging around. We just focus on getting through the pile of work on our desks and making sure everything is filed correctly before we head home in the evening. There isn't much more to it than that. We just do the work.
