Our office is over at 55 2 Sarojini Park, right in the Shastri Nagar area of Delhi. Specifically, we are on Street 13. It is one of those parts of town where there is always something going on outside the window, like vendors shouting or bikes zooming past. Protiviti Consulting Pvt Ltd has been based here for a while now. The building isn't brand new, and sometimes the stairs feel a bit narrow when we are carrying boxes of files up, but it suits us fine. We have a few desks squeezed in and quite a lot of papers everywhere. It is not the kind of place where you will find fancy art on the walls or leather chairs. We just use what we have and keep it functional. Most of us live nearby, so the walk isn't too bad in the mornings. Sometimes the electricity acts up when it gets really hot outside, but that is just how it goes in this part of the city. We deal with the consulting work as it comes in. We do not spend much time on social media or trying to look bigger than we actually are. It is just a handful of people trying to keep things organized. If you come by, you might hear the neighbor’s radio or the traffic from the main road. It is a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the task and try to get home on time. It is a plain office for plain work.
