Pary & Co. Chartered Accountants

It’s just us here at the office on Lane 9 in Laxminagar. Pary & Co. Chartered Accountants has been sitting in this house, D-211, for a while now. Most days are spent looking at papers and trying to make sense of all the tax rules that keep changing on everyone. We aren’t a big fancy firm with a lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. People from around the neighborhood usually drop by when they have a letter from the tax department they don’t understand. We sit down, have some tea, and look through the folders. Delhi can be a loud place, especially around Laxminagar, but inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of calculators and typing. We handle the usual stuff like audits and filing returns for local shops or individuals. It’s a lot of math, which most people hate, but it is what we do. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic outside gets too much, but we just keep at it. We try to keep things straightforward. No one wants to hear complicated jargon when they are worried about their finances. We just explain what needs to happen and then we do it. The office is easy enough to find if you know the lane. We’ve been part of this street for a bit, seeing the shops change while we stay busy with the ledgers. That’s pretty much the whole story.
