Shakarpur is one of those places in Delhi that never seems to sleep. Our office is in the School Block, specifically at S 207. It’s a tight area with lots of buildings squeezed together. We handle e-services and information sourcing. It sounds like a lot, but mostly we are just sitting at our desks and going through data on our screens. The office is on a street that gets very busy with shoppers and students from the nearby coaching centers. You can hear the traffic and the horns all day long. We have a small team and the office is just big enough for all of us to fit without bumping into each other too much. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they just pull up a chair. The wiring is a bit of a mess behind the computers, and the tiles on the floor are a little worn out. It’s a very practical, no-frills kind of place. We don't bother with corporate slogans or mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the daily targets met so we can head home. The metro station isn't too far, which is a lifesaver given how the roads are around here. It’s just a normal Delhi office where we work hard and keep things simple.
