You can find Mott Macdonald Pvt Ltd on the fourth floor at S 11D in Pandav Nagar. We are tucked away right behind the petrol pump, which makes it easy to give directions when people are trying to find us. Being in Delhi, there is always noise and movement, but once you get up to the fourth floor, it gets a bit quieter. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation even though we handle some big tasks. The team here is mostly made of people who have been around the block a few times. We just handle the engineering and project stuff as it comes. No one here wears a tie unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We prefer just getting on with it. The office is functional, nothing too fancy. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the work in plain English. We don't really do the whole "vision" thing. We just want to make sure the projects we are working on don't have any major issues. If something goes wrong, we fix it. It's practical work for practical people. Delhi is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but we make it work. We've been at this location for a bit and it feels like home now. We just take things as they come and try not to get too stressed out about the deadlines. There is always something that needs fixing or checking, so the days go by pretty fast for us.
