You can find us at 126 C 2, which is near the Mandir and the Masjid in the Main Market area of Patparganj. It’s in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, so it’s a pretty well-known part of Delhi. Being near two places of worship means the area has a specific kind of energy, especially on holidays. The market outside is always full of people, and the smells of street food are constantly drifting in through the windows. Mitcon Consultancy Services Ltd operates out of this space. It’s not a huge office, but it fits what we need. We’ve got our desks shoved in where they fit best. The wiring for the computers is a bit messy under the tables, but everything works. It gets quite crowded in the market during the evenings, so we usually try to finish up before the rush gets too bad. Finding a parking spot around here is a nightmare, so most of us just use the metro or rickshaws. The office itself is basic. We have a small area for files and a corner where we keep the water cooler. It’s a bit noisy with the market sounds and the honking, but that’s just life in Delhi. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have for the day and keeping things moving. We take our tea breaks when the market traffic slows down a little.
