Mintoo Engineering Works

Mintoo Engineering Works is tucked away at C 20 in Govindpura, right on New Street No 6. It’s a real workshop here. You’ll hear the machines running as soon as you turn the corner. We do a lot of metalwork and repairs. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay dirty all day. We’ve got lathes and welding gear, and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We’ve been at this spot for years. Most of our customers are locals who need something fixed or a specific part made because they can't find it anywhere else. We don't have a front office or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk into the shop and talk to us while we’re working. It’s loud and it’s hot in the summer, but we like the work. We aren't engineers with fancy degrees; we just know how the machines work and how to fix things that are broken. It’s honest labor. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. If we do a good job, people come back, and that’s how we’ve stayed open. Every day is a bit different depending on what breaks or what someone needs built. We just take it as it comes. It's a simple life at the shop on Street No 6. We're here from morning until the sun goes down most days of the week.
