We turned this flat into our working space because it is convenient and feels more personal. We spend our hours here looking at screens and talking to clients on the phone. It is a small setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see downtown. We have our files organized in metal cabinets and the kitchen area is mostly used for making coffee and tea. It is an honest way to run a consultancy. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just wake up, come to the office, and start on the pile of work waiting for us. The neighbors in the Sfs Flats are used to seeing people coming and going from our unit. We try to keep things professional but we are also just normal people. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. We don't use scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them how things are and what we can do to help with their specific situation. It is a practical, no-nonsense environment. We like being in this part of Delhi because it feels more like a community than a sterile business district.
