We are located at 223 Pocket C in Mayur Vihar Phase II. It is a busy part of Delhi but our office is tucked away. It is just a small place with some desks and a lot of registers. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most of the time we are just talking to parents who come in with photos of their children. We keep everything on paper mostly because that is how we started. It is a lot of work to keep track of everyone’s details. We drink quite a bit of tea throughout the day while we look through folders. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint. It is not a high-tech setup with computers everywhere. It is more about personal connections and remembering who is looking for what. Sometimes the park nearby is loud with kids playing. We just do our work and try to help people find a good match for their families. People usually find us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the area well. It is a simple life here in Phase II. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening rush. It is a decent way to spend the day and keep the records moving along.
