Our place is at C 428 in Nirman Vihar, which is a pretty well-known area in Delhi. It's actually right on the border near Haryana, so we get people coming in from different parts of the region. The building isn't new, but it works for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. We spend most of our hours here looking at numbers and chatting about how to fix whatever issue popped up that morning. It’s not always quiet, especially when the street noise from outside leaks in, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t really spend time writing out fancy mission statements or anything like that. Instead, we just focus on the task at hand and try to be helpful when someone asks us something. Kpmg in Nirman Vihar is basically a group of people who know their jobs and just want to get home at a decent hour. The commute can be a bit of a crawl depending on the traffic, so we usually start early. We’ve got a small break area where we eat lunch and talk about regular stuff, not just work. It feels more like a small community than a big company office. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay as long as the roof stays over our heads.
