Kartar Udyog

We are over at number 80 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a busy place with lots of trucks moving in and out all day. You can hear the sound of machines from the other units nearby. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the others on this street. We spend most of our time inside handling the day-to-day things for Kartar Udyog. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of grease and metal from the workshops. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks. It gets quite hot in the summer because of all the concrete around us. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the wall. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that's usually the highlight of the afternoon. We know the other business owners on this block quite well since we’ve been here for years. Parking is always a bit of a struggle, especially on Mondays when everyone is arriving at once. We just keep our heads down and get through the work. The office floor is concrete and easy to sweep. We don't have many visitors, but when we do, they usually just sit on the stools we have near the window. It’s a working-class area and we like it that way. No fuss, just regular hours and a lot of hard work in the heat.
