J. K. Instrumentation

J. K. Instrumentation is over at A-24 in the D.S.I.D.C. Work Centre, Block-A of Jhilmil Colony. It’s a place where a lot of small-scale work happens. We focus on instrumentation, so our day is mostly spent with tools and small components. The work centre isn’t a modern office building. It’s a practical space designed for getting things done. We’ve been in Jhilmil Colony for quite a few years now and we’re quite comfortable here. Our workshop is a bit cluttered with equipment and parts, but that’s how we like it. We aren’t the type to have a big reception area or a polished brand image. We just do the technical work that comes our way. Most of the time we’re hunched over a workbench trying to figure out a problem with a piece of equipment. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the neighbors in Block-A are doing something noisy, but we just put our heads down and focus. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly hear about us through word of mouth. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just aim to do a decent job every day and keep the instruments running. The walk from the main gate takes a few minutes but it's okay because we get some fresh air. We usually start the morning with a quick talk about what needs fixing.
