Ishrae

Working out of the DDA Building in the Laxmi Nagar District Center means we are right in the middle of a lot of noise and activity. Our office is up on the fifth floor, specifically room 502, so we see a lot of the city from up there. Ishrae has been operating from this spot for some time now. The elevators in these government buildings can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s a standard office setup with computers and files everywhere. The district center is always crowded with people coming and going for all sorts of reasons. We get our tea from the small stalls downstairs. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is usually someone talking in the hallway or the sound of traffic coming up from the street below. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things organized. The layout of the floor is a bit confusing to visitors who haven’t been here before, but we know every corner of it by now. It’s a practical place to work from because everything we might need is within walking distance. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the regular work that needs to be finished before the day ends. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, watching the lights in Laxmi Nagar come on as we finish up.
