Indian Society Of Heating Refrigerating And Air Contioning Engineers (Ishrae)

We spend most of our days here at the Indian Society Of Heating Refrigerating And Air Contioning Engineers (Ishrae). It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but that’s just how it is. Our office is up on the fifth floor of the DDA Building, specifically room 502. If you know the District Center in Laxmi Nagar, you know it gets pretty busy around here. There is always something going on downstairs. Getting to work every morning involves navigating through the usual Laxmi Nagar traffic, which can be a bit of a headache, but we’re used to it by now. The building itself has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We’ve got our desks set up and we just get on with the work involving heating and cooling systems. It’s mostly paperwork and technical stuff. Sometimes the elevators in the DDA building are a bit slow, so we end up waiting around talking about the weather or where to grab lunch. There are plenty of little spots nearby to get a quick bite. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just a group of us working out of this space in East Delhi. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the locals around the District Center probably recognize some of our faces by this point. It’s just a normal office life for us, keeping track of refrigeration standards and helping out the engineers who come through. Nothing more, nothing less.
