Indian Environmental Society Delhi

Our office is over in West Guru Angad Nagar, specifically at House No 687 on Street No 17. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood where everyone knows each other. We work on environmental issues here. The Indian Environmental Society Delhi has been around for years, and this is where we do all our planning and research. It’s not a shiny new building. It’s a house that we’ve turned into a workspace over time. There are plants everywhere, as you might expect from people like us. We talk about waste, water, and trees quite a bit during the day. Sometimes we have meetings in the small rooms where we stack our brochures and reports. The neighbors are used to us by now and they stop by to chat. We try to practice what we preach, even if the city air makes it hard sometimes. It’s a busy street but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and people talking about various green projects. We don't have a big budget for fancy stuff or expensive furniture. Most of our resources go into the work we do outside the office. We are just a group of people concerned about the planet. If you're looking for us in 110092, just look for the house with the most greenery. We’re usually here until late most evenings working on files.
