Being located at 18 Kalyan Vas means we are right in the thick of things near Mayur Vihar Phase II. Delhi is always moving, and this little corner of it is no different. Our space for Idea Cellular Private Ltd is on the ground level, which makes it easy for folks to just wander in when they’re passing by. It’s a small shop, and we keep it pretty simple with just the basic furniture and some posters on the walls. Most of the work involves sitting at the computer and sorting out mobile connections for people in the neighborhood. We’ve been in this 110091 zip code area for a while, so we recognize most of the faces that come through. It gets a bit dusty because of the road being so close, so we’re always wiping down the desks. The coffee guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have fancy marketing or a big team, just a couple of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. We just take it as it comes. It's an honest living and we like being part of the local community here in Kalyan Vas. If the door is open, we're working. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a regular business doing regular things for the people around here.
