Up on the second floor of the F 258 building in Pandav Nagar, you'll find our branch. Delhi is always moving fast and it’s quite noisy outside with the traffic, but inside our office, it's a bit more contained. We’ve got our desks set up and we spend our time looking over life insurance documents. It’s not the kind of place that’s designed to impress anyone with decor. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. People come up the stairs to talk about their plans or to submit some papers they forgot earlier. We try to keep things simple for them because insurance is already enough of a headache as it is. Some of us have been working here a long time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just stick to our routine of processing claims and explaining the different options people have. There are always tea cups on the desks and maybe some old newspapers in the corner. It feels like a real office because it is one. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk; we just tell people what they need to know about their policies. It’s just a normal day in Pandav Nagar for us, helping out whoever walks in and making sure the records are kept straight.
