Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust

Our office is tucked away in West Azad Nagar, right on Street Number 2 in Delhi. The address is E 68 1, and if you know the Krishna Nagar area, you know how these streets can get a bit crowded in the afternoons. We have been operating out of this space for some time, focusing on the family planning trust work that needs to be done. It is a lot of coordination and talking to people about health and programs. The office itself is functional. We have desks pushed together and a lot of files stacked up because there is always something to keep track of. It isn't a very large space, so we all end up knowing what everyone else is working on. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s when we take a short break. Outside, the street is always full of life, with people moving about and the usual sounds of a Delhi neighborhood. We don’t have any big flashy signs, just a basic one so people know they have reached the right house number. It gets hot in the summer months, but we have some fans that keep the air moving while we handle the distribution and the planning tasks. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we have a rhythm to how we handle the daily visitors and the phone calls that come in constantly.
