You can find us at A 147, Street Number 4 in North Vinod Nagar. It’s a tight-knit area of New Delhi 110092 and we’ve been here at Hewitt Associates for a good bit. The street is pretty narrow, so parking is always a bit of a gamble. Our office is inside one of those older buildings that’s been around for ages, even if the stairs are a little steep. We have a few desks squeezed into the main room. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We keep a fan going most of the time to keep the air moving. There’s always a bit of noise from the street—kids playing or people shouting—but it’s just part of the atmosphere here. We don't spend money on expensive decorations. We’d rather just have good lighting and enough pens that actually work. Most of the people we see are regulars from the neighborhood. We handle the paperwork and the details without making much of a fuss. If the light bulb flickers, one of us just climbs up on a chair and fixes it. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a corporate handbook for every little thing. We just talk it out and decide what needs to be done. It’s practical and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We enjoy the routine of it all.
