You’ll find Hewitt Associate India Pvt Ltd over at A 137 New Ashok Nagar. We’ve been in this part of New Delhi 110096 for a while. The metro station isn’t too far away, which is lucky for those of us who don't drive. The office is on a busy street, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. We have a small sign on the door, but it’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Inside, it's just a bunch of desks and chairs. We have a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to break the silence. There is a tea guy who comes by twice a day, and we always look forward to that. The work we do is pretty straightforward. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital files. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just sit around and talk until it comes back. New Ashok Nagar is a crowded place, but it has its charm. There are plenty of food stalls around for when we get hungry. We like being part of this neighborhood. It feels like a real place, not some sterile corporate park. We’ve been here long enough that the shopkeepers recognize us.
