Heartland Farms

We work out of Mayur Vihar in New Delhi, specifically at B 72 in the IFS Society. It might seem like a bit of a different setup because we handle farm-related business from a residential area. Most of our time goes into managing the logistics and the business side of the farms from this office. We coordinate where the produce needs to go and make sure all the supplies are ordered on time. New Delhi is a fast-paced city, so being in Mayur Vihar gives us a bit of a quieter place to focus. There isn't a shop front here. It is more of an administrative spot where we keep our records and do our planning. We get a lot of phone calls from suppliers and customers throughout the week. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly chasing someone to ensure deliveries stay on schedule. Farming has many moving parts, and even though we are based in the city, our minds are always on what’s happening at the farms. We have been doing this for a while and have a routine that seems to work for everyone. It is just us with a few phones and computers, making sure the business side stays on track. It is practical work that doesn't need many bells and whistles. We just stay focused on the tasks we have to do each day to keep things running properly and on time.
