You can find Hdfc Bank Ltd at 49 Rajdhnai Nikunj Aptts, over in I P Extn, Delhi. It’s part of the apartment complex area, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. It feels more like a community spot than a big bank. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s mostly just us handling the daily transactions and keeping things organized. The walls are a plain off-white and we have some old calendars hanging up. Nothing too fancy to look at. We focus on getting the lines moved along so people can get back to their lives. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a minute for the screens to load, which is frustrating for everyone. But we manage. We aren't here to sell you anything you don't need. We just process the deposits, withdrawals, and whatever else comes across the counter. It’s a lot of typing and clicking all day long. In the mornings, it's pretty quiet, but by noon it picks up. We try to stay on top of the stack of papers on our desks. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job. We don't have any big speeches or slogans. We just open the doors, do the work, and lock up at night. It is a very routine life here in the apartment block, but it keeps us busy and useful.
