Genpact

We work on the S 669 First Floor in the School Block area of New Delhi. It is a very crowded neighborhood near Shakarpur. The streets are narrow, and there is always a lot of movement. Being on the first floor is handy because we do not have to wait for a lift. The office is basically a big room with desks lined up against the walls. We have been at this School Block location for some years now. It gets quite noisy with the school nearby and all the traffic, but we just put our heads down and work for Genpact. We do not have any fancy carpets or designer lights. It is just a functional space where we handle our business processes. The walls are covered with some charts and a few old photos. We have a small bathroom and a tiny area to make tea. Most of the staff eats lunch together at their desks. We are a close group because we spend so much time in this one room. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the summer because the building does not have great insulation. We just turn on the extra fans. It is a very honest place to work. No one is trying to be something they are not. We just do the work we are supposed to do and head home. It is a busy, noisy, but productive spot.
