Genpact

Our place is at 6 C Pocket A 2 in Mayur Vihar Phase III. It is a busy part of Delhi, and finding a parking spot near the office is always a challenge. We have been here for a long time, working for Genpact out of this small space. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or a big lobby. It is just a few rooms where we have our computers and files. Mayur Vihar III is a very local neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the traffic throughout the day. We have grown used to it. Inside, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We handle a lot of data and paperwork. The furniture is a bit old, and the chairs squeak sometimes, but they do the job. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and the chai supplies. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is not too bad. We do not have any big meetings or corporate events here. It is just a steady, daily routine of getting work done. When the power goes out, we just wait for the backup to kick in and keep going. It is a very grounded way to work. We like being part of the community here in Pocket A 2 and knowing the local shopkeepers.
