Durgamba Traders

Our office is on the first floor of building 11/357 in Lalita Park. If you’ve ever been to Laxminagar in Delhi, you know how packed the streets can get with people and scooters. It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. We run Durgamba Traders from this spot, and it’s usually a bit of a squeeze when we get new stock in. The stairs are narrow, so we’ve gotten pretty good at hauling boxes up and down without hitting the walls too much. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we're just a group of people working hard in a busy part of the city. Most of the day is spent on the phone or sorting through the inventory we have on hand. It gets pretty loud outside with all the street noise, but we just shut the windows and get on with it. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs because the food around here is actually quite good. We’ve been in Laxminagar for years and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here on our little floor. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers and samples everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything, just regular clothes and a desire to do a good job. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we do every single day.
