Bitthal Crafts

Bitthal Crafts is our small workshop over in the DSIDC Complex. We are located at B24, which is very close to the main bus stand. It is an incredibly busy spot, and you can hear the buses pulling in and out at all hours of the day. There is a constant sound of horns and engines, but we have grown to like the rhythm of it. We make various craft items here by hand. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with bits of wood, fabric scraps, and tools lying across the benches. We are not the type of people who care about having a pretty office; this place is for working. My hands are usually stained with ink or sawdust by noon. We have been in this complex for a long time now and know all the other shop owners nearby. It is a real community of people making things. Sometimes people who are waiting for their bus will wander in just to see what we are up to. We do not have a sales department or a fancy catalog. If someone wants to buy something, they just talk to whoever is free. It is a loud, dusty, and very honest way to earn a living. We enjoy the feeling of making something tangible with our hands. The rent is affordable here, and being near the bus stand makes it easy to get our materials delivered. It is just us.
