Dewan Gulati

My name is Dewan Gulati and I operate out of House No 31 in the D Block of Ganesh Nagar, which is part of the Pandav Nagar Complex in New Delhi. This is my home base and where I handle all my business affairs. Living and working in the same area in Delhi means things are always moving fast. The streets can be narrow and it’s often crowded, but that’s just part of life here in 110092. I don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others keeping track of things. We handle various tasks that come our way, focusing on getting through the daily list without too much trouble. It’s a very personal way of doing business. When people call, they usually talk to me directly. I don’t like the way big companies make you wait on hold or talk to machines. Here, it’s just plain talk and honest work. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with papers and notes, but I know where everything is. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and I like being part of the local community. It’s not about being the most famous name in Delhi; it’s just about doing a job that I can be okay with at the end of the day. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, but we just get used to it.
