Deccan Consulting Engineers P Ltd is based out of Aruna Apartments in Patparganj. We are in Plot Number 33, specifically L 001. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the other side of Delhi, but IP Extension is a solid area for us. Our work involves a lot of technical details and engineering plans. Usually, you will see a bunch of large drawings rolled up in the corners of our rooms. It’s not the most stylish office you’ll ever see, but it is where the actual engineering happens. Most of our hours are spent checking calculations and making sure everything lines up for the projects we are handling. While the noise from the street gets in sometimes, we are mostly just focused on the paper in front of us. Our small team knows exactly what needs to be done. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. Looking at the problems and finding an engineering solution that actually works in the real world is what matters to us. Being in a residential apartment block means we know our neighbors and it feels more like a community than a cold business district. We take our tea breaks together and talk about how the city is changing. It is a simple setup that allows us to do our jobs properly without a lot of unnecessary distractions or corporate meetings. We just keep our heads down and finish the drawings.
