Being at D-336 means we have a pretty simple address, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are in the area. We don't have a long, complicated name for the building or anything. Inside, we mostly do design work, and that takes up almost all our time during the week. The space is mostly just desks, a few computers, and a whole lot of paper rolls. It is not really a place meant for showing off to visitors; it is just a place for getting the work done. We have been at this D-336 spot for a while now and the daily routine stays pretty much the same. We come in early, check what needs to be finished, and just get to it. Sometimes we stay pretty late when a deadline is coming up, which is just part of the job in this industry. We do not use a lot of big, fancy words to talk about what we do. It is just designing things and making sure the technical details are solid. Being in a spot like this means we have gotten to know the other people working in the nearby units. It feels like a normal part of the local business scene. We aren't some distant corporation. We are just the people you see coming and going from the D-336 building every day. If the lights are on, someone is probably inside squinting at a screen or a blueprint. It is a very practical space for design work and we intend to stay here for as long as we can.
