Choco Treat

We started Choco Treat here in Ghitorni 158 a few years back. It’s a small place. We mostly spend our days melting chocolate and trying out different shapes. Sometimes the kitchen gets pretty messy with cocoa powder everywhere, but that is just how it goes when you're working. It isn't a big factory or anything like that. Just a few of us here. We use the space at 158 to pack things up too. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the cooling running high. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see what we are making. We don't have a big sign out front. It's just a regular spot where we do our work. We make things by hand, so they don't always look perfect or exactly the same. That is fine with us. We handle the orders as they come in. Ghitorni is a busy area, but our little corner stays mostly quiet except for the sound of the mixers. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about the place from someone else. It's a simple setup. We focus on the chocolate and getting it ready for whoever wants some. We have been at this address for a while now and we know the street well. It’s just what we do every day. Nothing fancy about it. We just keep our heads down and work.
