Chacha Nehru Children Hospital

Chacha Nehru Children Hospital is located right in the heart of Geeta Colony. If you know Geeta Colony, you know it’s a tight-knit community where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our hospital is a place where there is always the sound of children, sometimes laughing and sometimes crying. The walls aren't stark white like a regular hospital; we have some drawings and colors here and there to make it feel a bit less scary for the little ones. It’s a fairly old building, so it has its quirks, like the way certain doors creak or how the light hits the lobby in the late afternoon. We don’t have a big PR department or a corporate office; we just have the doctors, the nurses, and the staff who keep the place running every day. The waiting area is usually full of parents talking to each other while their kids try to run around the chairs. It gets a bit chaotic during the peak hours, but that is just part of working in a children’s hospital in a place like Geeta Colony. We focus on getting through the day's list of patients and making sure everyone gets seen by someone. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what we do. People in the colony know us well, and we’ve seen many kids grow up over the years. It’s just a local spot where we try to stay organized and helpful for the families around us.
