Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya

We are over in Geeta Colony, and most people around here just call us Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya. Being a place for kids, it gets quite loud and busy most days. You will see parents waiting around with their little ones in the halls. The building itself has seen a lot of years, so it has that lived-in feel you get with older public spots in Delhi. It is not a quiet place, but we try to make it work for everyone who comes in. We deal with everything from common fevers to more serious stuff that kids catch. The doctors and nurses are used to the crying and the running around. It is just how it is here. Geeta Colony is a packed area, so we get a lot of walk-ins from the nearby streets. We do not have any fancy waiting rooms with TV screens or anything, just rows of chairs and people waiting their turn. It can be a long day sometimes, especially when the weather changes and everyone gets sick at once. We do our best to keep up with the charts and the medicines. It is a busy life here, but it is important work for the families in this part of town. People know where we are, so we do not need big signs. We just keep the doors open and see who needs help next. It feels like a small world inside these walls. We are part of the daily rhythm.
