Carna Hospital & Diagnostic

Carna Hospital & Diagnostic is over at B-162 in Surajmal Vihar. It’s a residential-looking area, so the clinic fits right in with the neighborhood vibe. We open up early in the morning because that’s when most people want to get their blood tests done before they head off to work or school. The waiting room isn't huge, so it can get a bit cramped when there’s a line, but we try to move things along as fast as we can. We have a few technicians who handle the lab work and some staff out front to manage the paperwork. The air inside is usually a bit cooler than the street, which is nice during those hot Delhi months. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations, just the necessary equipment and some chairs for people to sit while they wait for their names to be called. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside, like the occasional vegetable seller passing by or cars turning the corner. It’s an honest kind of place where we focus on getting the samples taken and the results typed up correctly. We see a lot of the same people from the surrounding blocks, so it feels a bit like a community spot. We just keep things simple and practical here, making sure the tubes are labeled and the records are kept in order every single day for the people who come to see us.
