B.Chhawchharia & Co.

Our office is tucked away in the School Block area of Shakarpur, specifically at S-206 on Street Number 2. B.Chhawchharia & Co. isn’t one of those big corporate places you see in the city center. We are a local outfit. Being near the school means there is always a lot of activity outside, kids running around and people heading to work. Inside, we keep things pretty low-key. We do a lot of auditing and accounting for small traders and individuals who live nearby. The rooms are filled with paper because, even with computers, some things just need to be printed out. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the tax office or explaining things to clients who aren't sure about their filings. It’s a lot of detailed work, and sometimes it gets a bit repetitive, but it’s important to get the numbers right. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a leather sofa. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. Most of our clients find us by word of mouth since we’ve been in this street for a long time. We try to be helpful without making things overly complicated. If the tea stall downstairs is open, we usually grab a cup while we go through the ledgers. It's a normal life here in Shakarpur, just keeping the books in order day by day.
