We are up on the first floor here in Hasanpur Village, right near the Shani Mandir. If you’re looking for us, you have to climb these narrow stairs that are a bit steep and can be slippery when it rains. It’s a busy spot in IP Extension. Downstairs there are vegetable sellers and people always walking by to the temple. Our space is crowded with files and small parts. We do mostly drawing work and some assembly for projects. It gets quite loud because of the traffic outside, but we’re used to it now. I’ve been working out of this spot for a few years. My brother helps me with the paperwork when he’s not busy elsewhere. We have a small table where we keep the old computer and the printer. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just wait it out. It’s not like those big corporate offices in the city. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of coffee from the shop next door. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon and makes it really bright inside. We don't have many visitors, mostly just delivery guys or the occasional client who knows where to find us. We try to keep things organized but there’s always a pile of something on the desk. It’s just how it is when you’re running a small operation. We stay late most nights to finish the drawings and get everything ready for the next day.
