An Autonomous Organisation

We are based at 145 Jheel Kuranja, which is very close to the Krishna Nagar area in Delhi 110051. Being an autonomous organisation, we have our own way of doing things here. The location is in a very traditional part of East Delhi, where the streets are always full of life and color. Our building is a bit older, tucked into the busy lanes of Jheel Kuranja. It can be a bit of a challenge to find us the first time because the area is so dense, but once you know the landmark of Krishna Nagar, it’s easier. Inside, our office is quite simple. We have a few rooms dedicated to different tasks and a central area where we all gather. It’s not a polished corporate office; it feels more like a community space where people are actually getting things done. We have a lot of old wooden furniture and stacks of documents that have been around for years. The noise from the street vendors and the traffic is just part of the background music for our workday. We don’t have a big budget for fancy signs or anything like that. We just have our name on the door and we get on with our daily business. It’s a place where we manage our own affairs independently. We like the grit and the energy of this neighborhood. It keeps us grounded in the reality of the city and its people.
