Our office is over in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, specifically at 135 E Pocket 1. It’s a residential-feeling area in Delhi, which makes our office feel more personal than those big law firms you find in the city center. We handle legal work, mostly documents, property papers, and basic advice for people in the neighborhood. The shelves are packed with old law books and dusty folders that have been there since we opened. It’s a bit cramped because we have so many papers stacked up, but we usually know where everything is. We spend our days reading through files and heading over to the courts when we have a hearing. It’s not like those dramatic shows you see on television. It’s mostly just quiet, steady work and talking to regular people across an old wooden desk. We don't use a lot of big legal words or try to confuse people. We just explain the situation in plain English so everyone understands their options clearly. Sometimes we have to stay quite late to finish up a filing before the deadline, but that is just part of the job. We have a small electric kettle for making tea, which helps us stay awake on the long days. We've been at this address for a long time and the neighbors know they can just knock on the door if they need help. There is no fancy lobby here.
