Flat 160 D in Pocket A 2 is where you will find us. We are in Mayur Vihar Phase 3, which is a fairly active part of Delhi. Albion Consulting Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, though it’s just a small plastic sign. The apartment has been converted into an office, so it still has a bit of a homey feel. We have desks set up where the dining table probably used to be. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time. The balcony has a few plants that we try to keep alive, though we sometimes forget to water them. Most of our work involves sitting at the computers and talking on the phone. The sounds of the neighborhood come in through the windows—kids playing, vendors calling out, and cars honking. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a small stove to make tea. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We aren't trying to look like a big corporation. We just need a place to focus and get through the paperwork. People often come by asking for directions because the numbering in this pocket can be a bit confusing. We don’t mind helping out. It’s a friendly enough place to work. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the tasks we have. It’s not glamorous, but it works for us.
