Akar Printers

We are located at Plot No. 5715 in the GIDC Estate. To find us, you have to go right behind Vijay Transport. It’s a typical industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks reversing and the smell of diesel in the air. Inside Akar Printers, it smells mostly of ink and paper. We do a lot of printing work here, from simple flyers to bigger jobs. The presses are quite old but they still run perfectly fine if you know how to talk to them. It’s a noisy environment, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum of the rollers. My father started this place years ago, and not much has changed since then, except maybe we have more boxes stacked up now. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come to visit, you'll probably have to step over a stack of cardboard or a roll of paper. It’s a practical workspace. We work long hours, especially when there’s a big deadline coming up. The tea guy comes around twice a day with his kettle, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take an image or some text and put it on paper. It's what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it in GIDC for a long time now. We aren't trying to change the world, just get the orders out.
