Suhana Bricks

Suhana Bricks is located in Village Bahurupiya. We are in the same Tehsil and get our mail through the Post Office in Parsa. Our site is actually quite close to the Govt. Middle School, so we hear the kids during their breaks. It’s a simple brick kiln operation. We spend most of our time out in the fields where the clay is. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we don't have any corporate structure. We just work when the sun is up. The location near the school is a good landmark for people coming from other parts of the district. We’ve been in Bahurupiya for quite some time. The work is hard on the back, but we are used to it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. People just know us as the brick place near the school. We try to keep things organized, but a brick yard is always going to be a bit messy. There are piles of coal and earth everywhere. We just focus on getting the bricks fired and ready for sale. It’s a very local business, serving the people around here. We don't aim for anything fancy. We just show up every day at the village site and get to work on the next batch. It is honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year except for when it rains too much.
