My name is Smita Jain. My place is at 18/1, near Agrasen Chowk. It’s in Nehru Nagar (W) in Bhilai. A good landmark is Cool Bebs, which is right opposite us. If you are around Agrasen Chowk, you are very close to my door. I’ve been in this part of Bhilai for quite a while. Nehru Nagar is a nice area, usually pretty active during the day. My office is simple. I don't like a lot of clutter, but paperwork always happens. I spend most of my day sitting here. Sometimes I see people heading over to Cool Bebs for a drink or a snack. It’s a small space, just enough for what I need to get done. I don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just me mostly. I try to keep a regular schedule. The building is older, has some character I guess. I like that it's easy to find. When I tell people "near Agrasen Chowk," they usually know exactly where to go. It’s not a fancy corporate office. Just a room where work gets finished. I’ve lived and worked in Bhilai long enough to know the rhythms of the street. It’s a steady life. I like the familiarity of the surroundings. Each morning I unlock the door and start again. It’s honest work for me.
