Sjcouture Private Limited is located in Durg. Our building is called Satyam Shivam Sundaram, and it’s in the Deepak Nagar area. It’s a nice name for a building, isn’t it? We are in the business of couture and fashion, but the way we work is very down-to-earth. The office has a lot of mirrors and racks, but it’s mostly just a workspace. Deepak Nagar is a pretty central spot, so getting around isn't too hard. We spend our days looking at designs and talking to tailors. Sometimes we have a lot of scraps of fabric all over the floor by the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a PR person. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. We take our own photos of the clothes and write our own notes. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s our mess. The building is usually quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on a tricky pattern. We have a small kettle for making coffee when we have to stay late. Most of the people around here know us as the folks who work with the dresses. We don't act like we are better than anyone else. We are just local people trying to make something nice in Durg. It’s a steady life and we appreciate the neighbors who stop by to say hello.
