Pritee Jeans Corner

If you’re ever walking down Station Road in Rajnandgaon, you might see us. We are at Shop No 220. Being near the station means it’s always loud and there are always people rushing somewhere. We’ve got used to the sound of the trains and the announcements over the speakers. Pritee Jeans Corner is a small shop, mostly filled with rows of jeans and some other stuff on the shelves. It’s a bit dark in the back, so we have to keep the front lights on all day. The counter is made of old wood that’s seen a lot of use. We spend most of our time here waiting for the next person to walk in or rearranging the piles of denim that get messy. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding, really. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we have to sweep the floor a couple of times a day. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. It's just a regular shop where we sell what we have. Station Road is a tough place to work because it’s so busy, but it keeps us on our toes. We’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go, but we’re still here at number 220, just doing what we do. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep moving and trying to stay organized in the middle of all the noise.
