Promptech Engineering

Promptech Engineering is situated over at Plot No. 80 in Nehru Nagar East. We actually take up Flat No. 3/4 in the Commercial Complex there. This is in the Durg district, and it’s where we do all our technical planning and project work. The office is usually quiet, filled with the sound of clicking mice and the occasional hum of a large printer turning out technical drawings. We have a couple of big tables where we spread out blueprints and maps to look at the details. It’s not a very fancy commercial complex, but it works for us and gives us the space we need to think. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the drawings. Nehru Nagar East is a pretty standard commercial area, and we’ve been part of it for a good many years. We don't do much in the way of advertising; most of our work comes from people who already know we are here in these flats. The shelves are packed with old project files and technical manuals that have been there since we moved in. It gets a bit dusty on the higher shelves, but the main work areas are kept as clean as we can manage. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to site supervisors and making sure the engineering specs are being followed. It’s a steady kind of life, focused on the math and the practical side of building things correctly.
