Pious Consultancy Services

We’ve been based over near Street Thomas College for some time now. Pious Consultancy Services isn't a big glass building or anything like that, just a regular office where we handle a lot of paperwork. Mostly, we help people who are trying to figure out their next steps with school or jobs. It gets pretty busy around here, especially with the college right there. You see a lot of students walking by every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at forms. It’s not the most exciting work to hear about, but it’s important to the people who come to see us. My desk is usually covered in folders and half-empty tea cups. We try to keep things organized, but when three people walk in at once, it gets a bit hectic. We’ve had folks come back years later just to say they got the job or finished their course, which is nice. Street Thomas College area is a good spot to be in because there’s always something happening. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just about sitting down with someone and trying to get their documents in order so they can move forward. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of typing, day in and day out. This office has been our second home for many years now.
