Financial Consultant

I’m located on Post Office Street in Keladabi, which is in the Durg district. This is a small place, and most people around here know each other. I work as a financial consultant, which basically means I help my neighbors figure out what to do with their savings and how to handle their taxes. My office is very modest. It’s just a room with a sturdy table and a couple of wooden chairs. I don’t have a neon sign or anything like that. People just know to come to Post Office Street if they need help with their paperwork. Living in Chhattisgarh, you learn the value of being straightforward. I don’t beat around the bush when it comes to money matters. If someone is spending too much, I tell them. If they have a good opportunity to save, I show them how. Most of my day is spent writing things down by hand or typing on a laptop that has seen better days. It gets hot here in the afternoons, so I usually start early. I don't have a big mission or a set of core values written on the wall. I just try to be useful to the people in my community. Sometimes folks stop by just to chat or ask a quick question about a bank notice they got in the mail. I’m happy to help out however I can without making a big deal of it.
