Ignou Distance Education Centre

You can find the Ignou Distance Education Centre over on Junwani Road in Bhilai. We are at Plot No 39, which is right in Pushpak Nagar. It's pretty close to the DAV Public School, so that's usually the landmark I give people when they call and say they’re lost. Being a distance education spot, we get a lot of people coming in to drop off assignments or ask about their courses. The office isn't very large, and it can get quite busy during the submission dates. We have a lot of paperwork piled up sometimes, but we try to keep it organized. The area around 490020 is usually bustling. It's a practical location for students from all over Bhilai. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the desk and the queries. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old, but they work fine. We've been at this Junwani Road location for some time now. It’s not a fancy college campus, just a functional center for people doing their degrees on their own time. Sometimes the internet is slow when we’re trying to check records, but we get it done eventually. If you see the DAV school, you're basically there. We’re just a regular office helping out with the IGNOU stuff for the local folks. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but not too bad.
