Geetali Systems

Up here at Plot No- 32 in the Parakh Complex, things are usually quiet in the morning hours. Being near Station Road and Green Chowk means there's always a lot of movement outside. Gurudwara Road is right there too. We’ve been in this complex for a bit now. Geetali Systems isn't a huge place. It’s just a few rooms filled with parts and tools. The air conditioner makes a weird rattling sound but it keeps the heat away. I spend a lot of time looking at screens or fixing hardware. The desk is always covered in screws and cables. Parakh Complex has a lot of offices, so we see the same faces every day. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at the back. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It’s part of life here. Station Road can be a mess during rush hour. I can hear the trains if I listen closely. We get people coming in with broken things or wanting new setups. It’s mostly troubleshooting and putting things together. The floor is grey tile and hard to keep clean. I try my best though. It’s a decent living. We don't do much advertising, people just find us by walking past. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun. I’ve been thinking about repainting it but never get around to it. The dust from the road comes in no matter how much I close the door. I just live with it.
